Yesterday, long-time-no-see Rahul dropped by. I was actually planning to giv my poor ankles at least a week of rest to recover decently, but when he suggested we go meet Rakesh who is also back home for holidays, he didn’t need to be too persuasive. I was bored to death of lying around in my room watching movies and reading books all day long. If my copy of 1Q85 had arrived, it would have been another thing though.
And we found this pup at Rakesh’s place. They were two brothers, and both of them were called Kaalu. Kinda mean I would say, but I wasn’t surprised. I’ll be going there again soon, if only to meet the Kaalus.
I took this photo sometime in last winter when I went to Kochi to visit my sister’s family. These cats occasionally came to the back door to talk to my 2 years old nephew. The interesting things is, my nephew doesn’t speak human yet!
